This week our Employee spotlight is on Daniel Nagaur. Daniel joined Unity in August as a Business Development Manager.

Daniel joins Unity with 15 years experience in business development across digital media, print, directories and radio. “My expertise includes building rapport, navigating roadblocks, and developing talent, driving exceptional growth and profitability in the digital marketing sector”

What initially attracted you to work for Unity?

Products, expertise, having a tailored and bespoke approach, being an all-service agency with all services created and delivered in house.  There isn’t anything we can’t achieve online.

Tell us about your average day at Unity?

Strategise, book appointments, prep, sell, repeat.

How would you describe the culture and working environment at Unity?

Lots of energy, great place for personal and professional growth.

Who would be your dream client and why?

Performance mechanical companies, working with cars or motorbikes, as this is a passion of mine outside of work. Getting the best performance out of an engine gives me a thrill.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Spaghetti carbonara with chicken and chilli oil.

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?

Generator, laptop, cooker.

If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

Hardwork, works but fun works better.

What is the first concert you attended?

Beres Hammond.

How do you embody the Unity team values?

I want to be the best I can be, professionally and personally, every single day, and I think this is reflected in our product delivery at Unity.

What are three things you’d love to learn this year?

Build and optimise campaigns and amend wordpress sites and SEO practices.

What are your hopes for our industry?

Growth, for SMEs to take their marketing more seriously, and for the digital marketing industry to be regulated and respected to minimise the number of money-driven rather than results-driven companies.

You’re organising the Unity Christmas party- where do you send us?

To Las Vegas!

Think about your job role at Unity- which animal best represents you at work and why?

A honey badger – they are cute but they are not scared to take on any challenge.

What are 3 words to describe Unity?

Performance, Hardwork, Integrity.

You’re having a TV marathon this weekend. Which box set would you choose and which snacks would you provide?

People Just Do Nothing. Snacks – prosecco and crisps.

Any random facts you could share with us?

Pigs can’t look up.

Describe what you were like at age 10.

Like I am now but smaller and without a car or a mobile phone.

Succinct, Broski, Sexy (in a non creepy way “that campaign is sexy”)

What celebrity do people think you look like?

Spike Lee, or Ludacris back when I had long hair.

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

Lamborghini Huracan.

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

I tend to be a bit fussy about what I put in my mouth.
