Following a virtual awards ceremony in 2020, the UK Search Awards return with an in-person event this November – where Unity Online will be hoping to pick up not one, but two trophies. After a challenging yet incredibly successful 12 months, we are proud to be shortlisted for Best Large Integrated Search Agency and Best Local Campaign. This wouldn’t have been possible without our talented and dedicated team, and the support of our brilliant clients.
Now in their tenth year, the UK Search Awards celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals working in the UK search industry. Widely regarded as the most prestigious awards ceremony for SEO, PPC, and content marketing, this year the ceremony takes place on Tuesday 16th November at The Park Plaza Hotel, London.
Working with more than 200 businesses, we partner with our clients to design, build, and maintain digital experiences that support and strengthen their success. We now offer a comprehensive range of online marketing services which encompasses everything from search and paid marketing campaigns to website design and development and social media strategies.
We already knew we had an awesome group of people working for us, but in 2020 every member of our team pulled together to deliver results for our clients and growth for our agency at a rate that would be impressive even in normal circumstances. This was achieved even as many employees home schooled children while working, showing that our collective skills and strengths really shine in adversity.
That’s why we are thrilled to be shortlisted for Best Large Integrated Search Agency. This nomination is a testament to our team and the awesome clients we are lucky enough to work with, and we believe it’s only the beginning of what we can achieve together.
Our client Eastern Garage Doors tasked us with generating leads throughout the main East Anglia towns using targeted SEO. We were confident we could make a significant difference to the company’s success by improving the website’s SEO, even within the confines of a limited CMS.
After devising a bespoke strategy, our team set about creating landing pages for target locations with unique, optimised content, and ensured contact details and phone numbers were highly visible on every page the customer would land on. This led to an almost-instant increase in website traffic, and a steady growth in enquiries which is still ongoing.
The success of this campaign has meant that Eastern Garage Doors have maintained jobs for local people and successfully navigated the pandemic, and are now poised to employ more people as the economic climate settles post-lockdown. While we are incredibly proud to be shortlisted for Best Local Campaign thanks to our work with this client, what makes us even prouder is seeing local companies thrive and grow in challenging conditions.
In a weeks time we’ll find out whether Unity Online has been successful at the UK Search Awards. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed, but whatever the result we’re thrilled to have been recognised with a spot on the shortlist. Keep an eye on our website and social media pages after the ceremony to see if we’ll be adding two new prizes to our trophy cabinet.
