This week, our Q&A is with Curtis Riley. Curtis joined Unity in April as a Paid Marketing Executive.

Tell us about your average day at Unity

First thing in the morning is our team meeting that we call stand up. This is where we discuss what we are going to do for the day. For the rest of the day its client work, where we review, plan and create new campaigns based on clients objectives and goals.

How would you describe the culture and working environment at Unity?

Unity has been a really friendly place since I started. The team have always been encouraging, helpful and embrace new ideas.

What are the three things you’d love to learn this year?

  • French
  • How to memorise long numbers
  • Gardening

How would you describe your job to a group of five-year-olds?

I create pictures and scribble words on a computer.

You’re organising the Unity Christmas party – where do you send us?

It has to be Las Vegas.

Think about your job role at Unity – which animal best represents you at work and why?

At the moment I would properly say a Turtle best represents me. Slow and steady, but reaching my goal.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learnt so far?

Listening is the best skill you could ever have.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

  • Play basketball
  • Explore London & Suffolk with my family
  • Learn about history
