This weeks Q&A Employee Spotlight is on Emma Gladwell who joined us at the start of lockdown in March as an SEO Consultant. Emma joined us with over 4 years of agency and in-house digital marketing experience, mostly working on SEO, social media, copywriting and email marketing.

Tell us about your average day at Unity?

No two days are the same at Unity! You’ll usually find me working on local SEO campaigns, creating organic social media plans, or planning and optimising content for our clients.

Who would be your dream client and why?

Aldi. They always have so many out-of-the-box ideas for their social media campaigns! I think they’d be really fun to work with.

What are the three things you’d love to learn this year?

I’d love to sink my teeth into some more technical SEO, content marketing strategy and e-commerce campaigns this year.

You’re having a TV marathon this weekend. Which box set would you choose and which snacks would you provide?

I’m binging The Crown at the moment, ready for season 4! For snacks, I’d have to choose sweet & salty popcorn, a bar of Cadbury’s Marvellous Creations, and some Ben & Jerry’s.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A roast with all of the trimmings, and something chocolate for dessert.

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?

The Queen. I’d probably cause some sort of constitutional crisis, but it would be fun to be royal for a day!

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?

A vineyard in northern Italy, so I could make my own Prosecco and have an excuse for some long holidays!

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Musty crickets, mealworms and locusts in a Bush Tucker Trial game. Wouldn’t recommend!
