Our Office Manager, Rachael Robertson, epitomises everything that makes Unity Online great. Two months into her new role, she shares how taking on a new challenge has helped our business grow yet again.

A familiar face

Rachael joined the team in 2019 and has been a key player in our growth journey – firstly as a Marketing Co-ordinator before taking on a new Office Manager role earlier this year.

Her new position sees her take a leading role behind the scenes, helping manage client databases, organise staff social events and ensure everything in the office runs smoothly. She also plays an important role in bringing new talent to the business.

Rachael had previously spent more than a decade as a marketer in the construction industry, but said the chance to take on a new challenge is what inspired her to make the switch.

She said: “I love being busy and taking on new challenges, so this role is great for me. There is so much variety and so much to learn.

“I’ve always enjoyed the administrative side of things and being organised. I’m really enjoying the new work I’m taking on.

“A lot of the work behind the scenes is helping relieve pressure on the team and allowing them to keep doing what they do best, which is great.”

A real team player

Other parts of her new role include managing our social media platforms, helping share our latest news and company developments. She also organises charity events, ensuring we give back to our local community.

Her biggest challenge however was managing the design of our new staff breakout room, which has gone down a treat with the team.

Rachael added: “Unity really is just such a great place to work. We are always busy, yet the mood and team dynamic are always so relaxed.

“Everyone supports one another and is happy to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed. We are all united in wanting to secure the best possible results for our clients.”
