Being part of a close-knit, supportive team that helps drive creativity is among the best reasons to work at Unity Online, says Social and Email Marketing Manager Kate Jaggers.

My life at Unity started in the most dramatic of fashions, but when I look back at everything we have achieved together – everything was worthwhile.

I had never expected I’d work just one day in the office before the government put us into lockdown, although even when working from home it never felt like I wasn’t part of a close-knit team that always looks out for one another.

The best thing about Unity is the people – the way we rally around one another and share our expertise. Everyone is hungry to learn and eager to provide help should anyone ever need a hand.

I have worked for other agencies in the past but nowhere comes close in terms of the opportunities Unity provide for self-development. Those progression pathways have really helped me blossom as a digital marketer – and I have seen the same among my colleagues too.

I really do mean it when I say I love my job. No two days are the same and there is always a new and exciting challenge to seek your teeth into. That was the same when I first joined the team as a Digital Marketing Executive and now as Social and Email Marketing Manager.

Our Content Department is full of talent – people with bright and innovative ideas that want to deliver the best possible results for our clients. There is no such thing as a mundane day in the office when you’re working in such an amazing team.

Playing a role in leading that team as a manager is a real privilege, and a role I really enjoy. I can’t wait to welcome more people to the team as Unity continues its growth journey.

Jenni Gedney, from our social media team, said: “Kate has been a fantastic manager since I joined the Unity team – she is a fountain of knowledge and is always happy to share her expertise with us.

“Kate has been supportive every step of the way, and I know I can always count on her for leadership and advice to benefit both our clients and myself as a marketer.”

Managing Director Alex Pattenden said: “Kate really is proof of the value our training and development provides.

“From day one she has worked exceptionally hard, going above and beyond both to help her colleagues and our clients in achieving the best possible results.

“She is a genuine asset to the team and we all look forward to watching her marketing journey continue to excel.”
