This week, our Q&A is with Oscar Bessant who joined us in October as Content Administrator. Oscar has joined us after recently completing Business Administration Apprenticeships over the course of two years. One in an e-commerce company and the other in the front office of a school. “Two completely different workplaces! However, I feel I have learnt some key skills in both of these places and I hope to take them forward with me”

What initially attracted you to work for Unity?

The first thing that attracted me to Unity was the opportunity to gain skills within Digital Marketing and to work alongside a team who is passionate about the same things as me. As soon as I looked at the website it really attracted me to the company and the opportunity to gain experience within a large team 

What would be your dream client and why?

My dream client would have to be the company Nutella as I would get to input content on this and maybe even be able to get a free supply! 

What are three things you’d love to learn this year?

I’d love to gain the fundamental knowledge within digital marketing, learn about content loading and order in more depth. Also gaining more confidence in myself in this new role 

People would be surprised if they knew?

I don’t like pizza!

What is the one thing you cannot resist?

That last chocolate digestive at the bottom of the packet!

Choose your Mr Men, to describe your home life personality?

I used to read the Mr Men books lots when I was younger! Hmm my family would always say I was Mr Clumsy, Mr Grumpy, Mr Worry and Mr Noisy. I’d like to say as an adult I’ve dropped Mr Noisy, but still a little Mr Clumsy and Mr Worry. I like to think of myself as Mr Happy instead of Mr Grumpy now though! 

You’re having a TV marathon this weekend. Which box set would you choose, and which snacks would you provide?

Peaky Blinders and the snacks would have to be sweet popcorn and Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. 

What celebrity do people think you look like?

My stepdad says I look like Brad Ray (A British Superbikes Racer) I think it’s the curly hair and glasses!
