This week, our Q&A is with Rebecca Smith who joined Unity as a Project Manager in June. Rebecca has worked in marketing for seven years. “After a few years working within social media and events, I moved on to being the Marketing Manager within a PLC and was then promoted to their parent company to Head of Marketing for all the companies. I always wanted to join an agency so I was lucky to have the opportunity to move to Unity this year”
I am essentially the organiser and the main point of contact for our website clients. Every day is different, but generally, I spend the morning going through client emails, checking the Development team’s schedule, booking in work for the team, contacting clients about the development tasks, and the active projects for any updates. We usually have a few client meetings per day as well. Every day is a busy day for us!
After the Unity Online Sports Day, I think it has to be some activity, maybe an obstacle course? Everyone gets fully involved, so that would be great to see! (Followed by a bar, of course).
I have always wanted to speak Spanish, so that would be amazing if I could learn that in 10 minutes.
Mariposa in California, it has a diner called ‘The Happy Diner’ dubbed ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’ and it really is.
Coffee, luckily the coffee in the Unity Online office is really good.
I have to use matching cutlery or it will bother me the whole meal. I don’t think it’s that weird but people do tell me its not that normal…
Coffee, snacks and my friend Alice, she will figure out how to get home, I am sure of it.
‘if I am being honest’, ‘I am hungry’ and ‘it will be fine’
I have been told for years that I look like Ellie Goulding
