As many of you will already be aware, 25^th May 2018 marked the beginning of a new data protection and privacy policy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) empowers consumers over the storage of their personal data by international businesses operating within the EU. Not only will GDPR require businesses to be more accountable and responsible about their handling of personal data, failure to adhere to the regulations can result in fines of up to €20 million or 4% of a company’s annual global turnover – whichever is greater.

As an agency that works with well over 100 growing businesses across East Anglia and beyond, we’ve spent a lot of time ensuring each of our clients are GDPR compliant as well as ourselves.

This wouldn’t have been achieved so seamlessly without the care and level of involvement from May’s Team Member of the Month winner, Tara Cassidy. Tara has been the GDPR champion throughout the team and has kept her colleagues and clients motivated on what has been an arduous and laborious task.

Tara’s commitment to always servicing clients in a pleasant and professional manner has shone through in recent weeks and we are delighted that her great work has been recognised by her peers with May’s Team Member of the Month accolade.
