This week, our Q&A is with Reece Nunn who joined our Client Experience team in April. Reece has worked in Marketing for around 12 years. The majority of his background is within Direct Marketing – running both postal and email campaigns. “All of the jobs I’ve been in have also been pretty content heavy, I’m used to writing content for anything from blogs, right up to 32 pages for a direct mail campaign and everything in between”

How would you describe the culture and working environment at Unity?

Right from my first day, I was met with a really friendly and hard-working team. I’ve always found it doesn’t matter how busy people are, if you have a question, there’s no hesitation in them taking time away from their task to give you an answer. I’m really impressed by the dedication to the business and how knowledgeable people are and there’s always a solution to any problem which may occur.

Who would be your dream client and why?

Ipswich Town Football Club. I’ve always been a fan and with the takeover happening and the club now growing in stature across the pond, it would be an exciting time to increase visibility of the brand and bring in a lot of new audiences and fans.

Where’s your favourite place in the world?

Cape Town, it’s an incredible city and I’d go back in a heartbeat. Great food, the friendliest people, awesome wine and perfectly placed for a safari. New York would be a very close second.

If you could get a new skill in 10 minutes, what would it be?

I’d love to learn the basics of coding; it would have to be a crash course in 10 minutes, I know! I’ve always taken an interest in HTML, I know how to read parts, but I’d love to be able to write my own.

If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Muhammed Ali, just an incredible story. To come back from all the adversity he faced was iconic. A great story and great personality.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

I’d spend it with my two girls, one is four and the other is nine months so colouring and watching Teletubbies or Paw Patrol will be on the agenda. If that free-time includes being child free, I’d drop in to Verdansk, have a few games of FIFA – anything PlayStation related really. They’ll be food involved somewhere in there too.

What’s your weirdest habit?

On the rare occasion I have to hang the washing outside, I have to use the same colour pegs on items of clothes to keep it coordinated. It takes me longer to dig through the peg bag than it does to actually hang clothes out.

You’re having a TV marathon this weekend. Which box set would you choose and which snacks would you provide?

If it’s a TV box set, Breaking Bad. If not, Marvel movies back-to-back for the win. Snacks wise – nachos, chilli peanuts, big bar of Galaxy and raspberry Pepsi Max.

Do you have a favourite quote?

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
