The sole UK distributor for the American skincare brand of the same name, Pevonia is much-loved in professional spas and home bathrooms alike. Part of HBD Europe and a sister company of SBC Skincare, Pevonia specialises in natural formulations, proven solutions, and clinical results for a whole host of skincare concerns. The company also sells spa equipment, which is easily accessible from the new website.

Our role in polishing the Pevonia brand

When we first began working with Pevonia, their existing website was not user friendly and didn’t work effectively on mobile. The team couldn’t update the site with offers, meaning sales opportunities were being missed, and the overall look of the website didn’t match the Pevonia brand.

To market Pevonia’s huge range, we built a smart and stylish online store that makes it easy for customers to find the perfect product, whether they are individuals looking to improve their skincare regime, or professionals stocking up a spa. We also made sure the new design was mobile responsive, so customers can easily browse this large ecommerce shop on the go.

Showcasing special offers

One of the key things missing from the old Pevonia website was the option to add special offers. Building the new site in WooCommerce means that the team can quickly activate promotions in-house without too much technical know-how. We also designed the homepage with space to showcase bestsellers and the latest deals, all with the aim of increasing conversions.

Crafting content-rich product pages

To help users navigate choose from a vast selection of products, we designed the individual product pages to offer plenty of detail around benefits, ingredients, and cross-sells that can complete a skincare regime. This ensures that customers have all the information they need to select the right formulation for their skin, whatever their level of skincare knowledge.

Promoting to skincare professionals

Pevonia is found in high-end spa settings around the world, so it was important for the website to feature a professional corner. With content that is only accessible by creating an account, the Therapists Lounge fulfils this requirement and allows the site to cater to professionals as well as consumers.
