The Challenge
The team at The Iver Makeup Academy approached us to revamp their website with a fresh new look that would appeal to their core demographic of 16 to 25 year olds. As well as showcasing their courses, they wanted to highlight the successes of their alumni across the world of makeup, demonstrating the potential opportunities that students could enjoy.
Our Solution
We designed a new website that is fully responsive, making it easier to use on the go, with in-depth content around each course and success stories to inspire future students. Behind the scenes, the updated website is more user-friendly, allowing the team to manage content with ease.
Enhancing User Experience and Brand Visibility: Responsive Design and Student Success Stories
The existing Iver Makeup Academy website didn’t have a responsive design, which meant it was difficult to use when browsing on a mobile device. The new design is fully responsive, allowing potential students to explore content using a phone or tablet, which should in turn increase visits and enquiries from non-desktop users. A section of the website dedicated to student success stories shows new and potential students the paths they could take with a qualification from The Iver Makeup Academy. This area can be expanded with new testimonials over time, further strengthening the academy’s brand.
Simplifying the Backend for Effortless Management of Makeup Artist Listings
The Hire A Makeup Artist section of the website allows alumni to advertise their services with endorsement from the academy, and this needed to be easy for staff to manage when verifying and approving listings. By making the backend of the website simple and straightforward to use, these listings can be regularly refreshed to allow new graduates to promote their work.
